Job Functions:Job SummaryThe Sr. Manager Electrical Engineering & Automation department oversees the day-to-day development of R&D projects and customized orders. This position manages an engineering team responsible for the design control of new products, customized products, Automation, and support to other departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide guidance to a team of engineers Work with a global team to support global customers Oversee completion of new R&D developments Oversee completion of customized orders Manage project timelines, deliverables, and costs Responsible for design quality of all products Provide production support to assembly area Improves engineering processes related to standard product design Responsible for approving and checking of ECO's Continuous improvement of quality and productivity Participates in new product development projects Effective problem solving, time management, and organization Responsible for following the ERP procedures Responsible for following the procedures per the company's quality system Performs other related duties as assigned Interact with the sales department to determine project feasibility and assist with needs Work with distribution on new product ideas, concepts, and customized orders Develop and maintain engineering guidelines for design Oversee engineering design of power distribution, communications, and control systemsQualifications:Education/ExperienceRequired: Bachelor's degree in the electrical engineering field with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience. Preferred: Experience in the field of power generation or related industry. Knowledge of electrical design systems Experience in complex automation systems Experience with new product developmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lead a team of engineers Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi task Ability to lead a team of engineers Resolve problems and seek assistance from other department to resolve issues Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks globally and to prioritize accordingly Maintain complete, readily accessible files and records Knowledge of CAD and drafting principles, practices, methods and techniques Knowledgeable in AC and DC circuits Knowledgeable in complex automation systems Associated topics: adapter, bsee, electric, lighting, plc, renewable, rf, schema, wire, wiring
