SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION
The center of excellence innovation team is chartered to develop the next generation
technologies in dispensing with the understanding of the conditioning and
controlling of fluids to provide cutting edge solutions for our customers. As a member of the team, your primarily responsibility will be to research, develop, and design engineering solutions for fluid dynamics based on the understanding of unique fluid behavior and established engineering principles.
We are looking for a self-motivated person to help expand our research in fluid dynamics and use that knowledge to pioneer the next level of technology for the industry through innovative designs, systems and processes.
Use technical capacity to collect and analyze data, and based on findings, makes
improvements and modifications to current technologies.
Generates and implements test plans for existing or new designs, including form/fit/function, reliability, endurance, dispense accuracy, chemical compatibility, thermal impact and system measurements.
Participates in diverse areas of R&D and quality initiatives to contribute
innovations, new designs, or new techniques to advance water and solvent based
fluid handling and dispensing technology.
Performs standardized fluid testing and generates custom tests as needed through the use
of various types of lab test equipment with proficiency.
Conducts component DFMEA's or worst case analysis for mechanical or
Works to ensure that all intellectual property standards are followed.Ensures proper documentation of research activities.Initiates and maintains contacts with key internal and external technical resources.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles and analytical background
Experience managing technical projects and/or project teams
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to formulate and present ideas to both technical and non-technical audiencesBackground in fluid dynamics and analyzing its respective properties
Experience in research and analysis techniques.
Ability to apply statistical analysis to make sound conclusions.
Generate CAD models and drawings in Solidworks
Well-developed technical report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate time management skills
Goal oriented and self-driven with a desire to \"roll up your sleeves\" to help the team get the job done.
Knowledge of patent/intellectual property
Able to work alone or on small cross functional teams
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION LEVEL, OR KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years of experience in product design and development
5+ years working with fluid systems or fluid dynamics
Experience in Solidworks and Microsoft Office software
Proficiency with statistical analysis software
Broad knowledge of chemical and materials science a plus
Experience with test applications such as Lab View a plus
