May perform other functions such as assisting dispatch, upholstery, washing buses, and answering phones.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:List most important duties first1. Exchanges vehicles, picks up parts, and conducts inventory. Performs Stage II Fuel Pump Inspections and dispenses fuel to fleet.2. Performs light duty repairs such as: replacing bulbs, wiper blades and other duties as assigned. Assists in upholstery repair, bus washing, and dispatch to areas.3. Cleans and maintains special shop equipment such as, disc and drum brake lathes, and tire mounting equipment.6. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Basic Reading and WritingWORK EXPERIENCE:Less than 6 monthsTYPE OF SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:Office equipment (e.g., computer, copier), Hand tools (e.g., hammer, shovel, screwdriver), Power tools (e.g., radial saw, reciprocating saw, drill, pheunomatic hammer), Vehicles (e.g., automobile, truck, tractor, forklift)Must obtain a Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement within 90 days from time of hire and maintain throughout the length of employment, A/C recovery Certification, ASE Certification, Stage II \"Fuel Training.\"LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:No supervisory or direct people management responsibilities.
